The Mission of the Ozarks Neuroscience Nursing Education Clinic is designed to bring nurses from various levels of neuroscience education, experience, and expertise together under one venue, to help guide and train in didactic and cadaveric surgical and non-surgical care of neurological patients, in combination with continuing education guidelines.
Continuing education credit statements
In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by University of Kansas Medical Center and Ozarks Neuroscience Education Clinics. University of Kansas Medical Center is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
Nursing:
The University of Kansas Medical Center designates this activity for a maximum of 21.25 ANCC contact hours. Nurses should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Physician Associate/Physician Assistant:
The University of Kansas Medical Center has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 21.25 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.
Certificates of attendance are available to other participants upon completion of documentation of attendance and evaluation as outlined.
